Where do I go from here?? What to do now???

Kiss

The curse of the reefer always looking to do more. :) . . ..

I second that.
That's why I started build of my second tank with main goal - simplicity. If your corals and fish look/eat OK - that's main indicator that all is OK. If you will push for high bio-load, it will be harder to balance all components, and eventually trouble will start.
So, like in many things, you need to know when to slow down (or stop) with increasing the bio-load.

well, I took your advice and did nothing. I did, however, start running a phosban reactor with phosguard and now my readings are as follows...
sg...1.024
ca2..420
nh3..0
ph...8.0
no2..0
po4..0
no3..0
alk..10 dkh
I dont really have a demand in there yet. Just some fish and some softies. I am looking to go with some more leathers and some LPS. When I get my lighting I will go for SPS. I only have around 324w's right now. Anyone looking to sell a light fixture?

Numbers look OK, with the Ca and Alk at those readings, I'm going to assume that your Mg is also good, but it would be a good idea to check it once in a while, these readings will become more important, the more you get into "stoney" corals. What do you use to measure your salinity, and what is the temp of your tank.

I use a refractometer and my temp is around 80-82'. I dont have a heater on during the winter and spring.

Oooh pretty far south...I was going to see what I could donate for your tank, since I run T5 they should adapt well. Will have to try one of these days.

Thank you very much. I really appreciate that....I actually went to today to my LFS to see if he had anything I could try. Not alot of healthy stuff. So, I'll wait and find something when the time is right. I am shoppin on Dr. Mac's site in the 15 and under section. My LFS does have a really nice large green brain for a decent price.

it's too bad you weren't around for MACNA...all the "LFS" from the nation came to the convention center. It was a lot of work but a lot of fun too. You can't go wrong with $15 frags from dr. mac though.

Be careful in there, I frequently see a lot of aptasia in those tanks.

You don't actually have to bring anything, while members can (and will!) arrange trades beforehand, there will be many vendors at the swap who will be more than happy to trade their coral and dry goods for your money :)
