Where should Steve go on his Honeymoon?

Bora bora, never been but one day il get there. Been to St. Thomas 2xs. Sailed to St. John for the day. Both have nice beaches and decent diving. Turks and Cacios is excellent. Hawaii a classic, can't go wrong there.

If you want to go diving and see some reef make sure you check the latest status. Last time I went to Turks and cacos the whole reef was bleached.

Belize is great. I went there on my honeymoon. We spent a week in the rainforest and a second on turneffe island. The snorkeling was fantastic especially the trip to the Blue Hole. Fishing was great also.

Its generally a bit more rustic than the other major islands and the beaches aren't what I call your typical white sand beaches. They are all pretty much protected by the reef with lots of turtle grass. If you are on the adventurous type its perfect. If your more into the big resort scene its probably not the best choice. We swore we we get back there for our ten year anniversary last year but kids have a way of changing plans lol.

I just realized after some (read as hours) of research that I have enough airline miles and can use them on a partner airline to get to the Maldives. I am now very much considering the Maldives. Will have to fly to Istanbul, Turkey and there is a 9 hour layover, but I figure just stay in Turkey for a whole day and then it the Maldives the next day. Hmmmmm.

I have been to Grand Cayman and if your wife likes to shop, stay away from there. Other than that it's a really nice place and they have a great reef that you can literally snorkel footsteps from the beach. I'm getting married later this year and I got appointed to plan the honeymoon as well, I picked Hawaii and doing the two island thing. 5 days in Maui and 5 days in Kauai. I wanted to do the French Polynesia but it was expensive. In the neighborhood of 15 grand for a week.

Kauai.... We got married and honeymooned there. Snorkeling was amazing, and free just drive 25 minutes park and go. You can do a day scuba trip and its a total couples style place. When we were there, only 1 single movie theater existed and over the course of the week, I think I saw less than 10 kids at hour resort.
