Who has the best tank deals?

Now that Aquarium discounters closed up in Marlton. Where is everybody getting the best deals and buying new tanks. I am either going to do 2- 120's or the new perfecto monterey series tanks that are really deep(front to back)I also considered a custom tank, but do not really have time to order. Anyway who do you think has the best deals on tanks and possibly a stand also. I'll probably be willing to drive up to 2 hrs each way if need be.

It depends, you have to shop around. A lot of times you can get a great tank from someone getting out of the Hobby. A fellow hobbyist will probably be your best bet for a killer deal. Good luck with whatever you decide

I'd check with Will at AO, Trop and maybe one of the fish stores in PA. There's that one store that you can get a coupon for any item you buy on Tuesday (or Wednesday), maybe that would work?

I would definitely go for the Monterey series tank!

The tanks go on sale regularly but they only do a size at a time from the manufacturer.

Like in December AO had 215's on sale. That's where Cmart, HarryK, and a couple other got them. And in October there was a huge sale on 178's (i think). Looks like they come around every couple of months. So if you call some stores and ask whats onsale or to keep you posted on future sales on the size you're looking for you'll probably get some info you're looking for.

I my experience, Tropiquarium has always had good prices for tanks. Everything else in the store is pricey, but that is one thing they keep down.

PS - I think that place out in PA that Phyl is reffering to is That Pet Place and if I remember correctly you can not use the coupon on tanks.

Valu pet on 130 by the airport circle has decent prices on tanks. And they will work with you on a price
