Why can't I send PM's?

You need to have a certain number of posts before pm's are allowed. This was implemented to resolve the recent issue of spammers hitting this site.

This restriction applies to both members and nonmembers.

You should be able to PM as long as you enter the code properly. If you aren't getting 5 characters keep asking for another set until you have 5 characters showing.

I thought it was 5 posts. You should be able to reply to a PM. You won't be able to view anyones profile but you should be able to send a reply.

Hmmm... i did try and this time i never got the 5 digit code but nothing was in my outbox

I think you have to go to your profile and change the default setting to save a copy in your outbox. The default is not to save them.

I'm having this problem also. It asks me for 2 identical veri codes, and even after putting them in correctly, I get a message that i input them incorrectly. After about a dozen tries I gave up.

Sorry if I laugh - but instead of trying 12 times - you should have just posted out loud in the forums.

Try it now - should work fine.
