Worms & Weird Tank Discovery (NEED IDS)

During my latest water change i noticed a few small white/transparent worms too tiny to photograph. I have not added anything new to my tank in 4 months and when i do i use iodine based coral dips. Additionally, when i started my tank over a year ago i used both dry rock and dry sand. So i kinda ruled out any hitchhikers but i guess you never know in this hobby. Anyone have any clues as to what this worm could be and is it harmful? However, my second discovery can be photographed and i am hoping it is not Aiptasia. Thanks, Pete

+3 on Pineapple sponge. Good call Jim.

As for the worms, I'm going to guess they're spionid worms based on your description and the fact that they're fairly common in reef tanks. Can you compare it to those on This Site and let us know?

Thanks for the information on the sponge. As for the Worms, it is possible that it is a spionid but i am not too sure because mine had a million little feet. I am going to look for a camera with a macro function and try to post a picture as soon as possible. Once again thank you very much for the informative responses.

If the worms had "feet" they weren't spionid worms. Those grow a tube made out of sand that they live in and don't move around.

Could it be a bristleworm? (Scroll down further on the page I linked.)
