My one tank I don't test parameters that often and I've been very busy the past 2 months. I typically eye it by how the corals look. They look great and everything is growing. I have all types of coral. Must admit I was a little shocked when I saw this. That's 0.25 phosphate! Nitrates are up around 25, alk is 7.5, calcium 430 and magnesium is 1300.

Might be a bogus reading sometimes I get crazy readings with my hanna ulr checker.

Tested it twice. 82 and 85. Did I 5 gallon water change because I don't want my phosphate that high. I know the wc wont do much. May run a very small amount of GFO to gradually bring it down.

My checker has been reading in the 40's for over a month..my icp results came in with phosphate at .04 I really don't trust my hanna checker anymore.

That's interesting. I feel like its always been spot on for me.

I think it comes down to your test tubes have to be clean no water spots or finger smudges.

Mine always get rinsed well after each test and I clean the tube with a eye glass clothe prior to testing.

I always clean them and wipe them down with a micro fiber towel. My hanna checker for alk I love. Always consistant and accurate
