So I look at my nano today, and I see on my zoas, a little brown fuzzy thing wandering slowly around the head of the polyp. It's about half the size of the polyp head, not really all that big. It appears maybe a zoa eating nudibranch, but doesn't really look like the ones I've seen posted online. Any other ideas what it may be? Anyone have any thoughts on running flatworm exit thru the system? From what I've read online, this seems to kill the nudi's as well. Instead of removing all the coral, dipping, and replacing, some opinions have been to run it thru the system, then do large water changes back to back, along with running carbon to remove the Exit. Question is.... how long do I leave it in the system? Or..... should I avoid this method?

I would pull out the colonies and dip them with flatworm exit. If you have inverts in your tank, and you run flatworm exit through your system, it will likely kill them. if what you are seeing is a nudi, the flatworm exit should kill it. Zoa eating nudis are unlikely to be spread thoughout your system in my opinion. I would do the dip, get a positive I'd on the critter, and then go from there.
Anyone hear of Coral Banded shrimp eating them? Or 6 Line wrasses?

We had zoa eating nudis in the 120g and ended up using Flatworm Exit in there. It didn't hurt any of the snails or hermits that we could see. Shrimp, crabs and others may not fare well though. Like Nikki said, pulling them and treating them is way to go. If that's not possible because of placement or whatever, then you may have to run it in the tank. Before anything though, get a positive ID first.
It's only a nano, but I'm a zoanut! I have them everywhere in my tank, from the bottom rocks to the top. Just hate the thought of pulling everything out just to have to rearrange it again. lol I've picked off everything I can see. I may try to catch my peppermint and my crabs, and QT them while I run flatworm exit. I'm still debating. Of course, as I debate, they're breeding right? lol
That is the problem, you kill the adults but if there are eggs they will hatch and you will be right back where you started. It took me over a month to get rid of them. It involved nightly watches and manual removal with a syringe every few days, weekly dips, and looking very closely at each piece for eggs and removing them.
Honestly, It was probably from my lack of effort in the beginning when purchasing from the MR.... XXXXX website. I had some issues with some stuff I put in my nano. All my sales out of my nano were prior to that purchase. Since then I've kept a solitary frag tank and have been diligent about dipping all new arrivals, fragging, then dipping again after fragging. Unfortunately hitch-hikers exist, and you may never get everything. Nothing has been sold out of my nano though, so I'm not worried about nudi's coming from any of my stuff. It's amazing what you find though after dipping. I now own some sort of little green crab in a cup. lol
Probably an emerald crab. They're a common hitchhiker.
I saw this post a few days ago and have been inspecting the couple frags I got from Shawn for any signs of these nudis. I haven't seen any at all, so it likely came from something he got recently (or at least after I bought from him.)
I had monti eating nudis a while back and although I killed them off after a month or so of dipping in Coral RX Pro... I also lost 90% of my monti's due to the excessive dipping.
Nudi's are evil since the dip doesn't affect the eggs and they reproduce quickly. Good luck with this Shawn. Hope you can get rid of them.
