Last summer I threw a bunch of snails and tiny crabs from Barnaget Bay into my tank and they lasted for at least 6 months. They might not be as pretty as others but they do the job!! Oh yea...did I mention FREE???

I was at The Hidden Reef a week ago and bought live rock for $3.49 a pound. For the price it is really nice rock. If I remember correctly its exit 41 off 95...just over the state line.

I have a skimmer which I think is antiquated and also haven't hooked up yet. If I decide to use it Ill need to get an air pump with a stone and T it off a pump. I plan on buying the mag 9 to use for my sump so it will probably T off that. I have a regular skimmer now with a separate pump that it...

If the bottom of the tank is tempered does that mean that the rest of the tank is tempered? I want to drill my 90 but the bottom is tempered...was wondering if it is ok to drill the sides....Thanks!!!
Your right, I shouldnt go cheap on equipment...it will be worth it in the long run....besides, with my luck...the cheaper one will cause a flood!
