    Fish only powerhead?

It will be fine but depending on what powerhead it is it might wear out faster. Some powerheads aren't made to be turned on and off with a timer.

    Dangerdave’s reef

No haven't had the need to yet. But if I start having phosphate issues that's the way I'll go. I like that you have more control with it then gfo. Once you figure your dosage out you can keep your phosphates where you want them.

    Dangerdave’s reef

Surprised phosphates are that high did you add alot of rock when you added the frag tanks? I haven't been by in a while you would think with your water volume and coral you wouldnt have a problem with it.

    X1 dosing pump mod

I have 4 X1 dosing pumps and they work really good. The only thing I dont like about them is the tubing they come with. It's smaller then standard line so it doesnt fit on barbed fittings or push connect fittings. So I had an old jebao dosing pump sitting around. The head fittings on the jebao...

    My Big Tank

Tanks is almost 2 years old so I switched up my aquascape a little to give the fish a nice open area to swim. It doesnt look that big in the pictures but it's a decent size opening.

    How do you sump?

You could use the 2 holes on the bottom as drains and drill a new hole on the back for a return.

    Water changes

The only maintenance I really have is emptying my skimmer cup, cleaning the glass and changing out filter socks. The calcium reactor takes care of alk and calcium. I dont run gfo or carbon it's a pretty low maintenance setup.
