Red slime remover has worked wonders for me. Had to battle cyano at least once every two years and red slime remover did the job everytime

Im also planning to run the rock in RO water to pull any nasties out of it. i heard someone on youtube keep the dry rock in RO water with a high amount of kalwasser. Does anyone know why or how this is beneficial in anyway?

Ok update. I was able to clean the pipes very well using bleach. Will try to dechlorinate and soak in vinegar water for awhile. I completed the rockscape which took me awhile. I wanted to be a little more open this time around as I will be going with the fish heavy route. Let me know what you...
