Like Trio said, the small tank is the ATO reservoir that comes with the RSR tanks. It sits on top of the sump right above the filter socks. It's a gravity-fed ATO that's attached to the float valve. Some people convert it into a refugium though. The tall tank isn't something standard that comes...

Simple solution. Get the Red Sea filter media cups. I believe that they're non-standard size so you'll have to get them from Red Sea. Just use those with filter floss which you can toss. That's what I did when I had my RSR 450 stock sump.

Didn’t you say you had snails and shrimp in the tank? Those are inverts.

I don't think mushrooms are likely to sting the clowns. White slime sounds like Brooklynella maybe? Though maybe it's something with parameters if you're also losing snails and possibly a shrimp. What are you thinking of medicating with? Many of the meds wouldn't necessarily be safe for inverts...
