The apex units are very buggy, I have gone through about 4 units so far sending them back and getting factory refurbished ones. The chips that they use for wifi are really really cheap so any tiny bit of anything abnormal screws the thing up. Some people get solid ones and other people get duds...
I know they are very old but does anyone have one laying around? My biocube one shorted out with the uv led. I plan to take this tank down not to long so if anyone’s interested in trading coral for it please let me know, if not I’ll probably just take all the rock and corals to acc for them to have.
With the esv, me and a few other uses saw elevated lithium, bromide and strontium that we think was coming from the esv and may end up going back to making my own 2part with brs stuff so I don’t have elevated from that.
There most likely is more phopshates and nitrates available in the system but it gets bound by the growing algea fast. Once the plants in there it’s storing those nutrients. The way to get rid of is either picking it out yourself, or cleanup crews which recourse and then excrete it back into...
