    I have a Fluval M150 heater and that is 3 degrees off.. I even got in touch with Hagen in CA about it and they said it was a known issue.. I have mine on 81 for 78 water temp Add edit: The on/off light on it is horrible.. it's blue and you can't hardly see it

    Dealing with it now? Cost is one thing with me too but just not with livestock. sometime ago we was talking about the cost of stuff in a thread and it seem they slap a fish sticker on stuff it and it's 3x+ more.. and not being happy with the tank as in?

    We all have our dislikes about this hobby at times or even all the time.. could be keeping curtain or all prams in check, WC's. Ich., pests, cost of stuff ..ect.. I have a few but right now mine is trying to keep Nitrates down.. It don't matter how many WC's I do plus doing all the right...

    Nothing is 100% in this hobby just like nothing is really 100% reef safe.. Something always eat something on a reef but it really comes down to is it safer? In this case i would say safer plus with that size tank

    I have about 12 Coralife Digital Thermometers and NONE read the same temp.. some are 5 degrees off.. As of right now I use a Lab grade Floating Glass Thermometer from my beer brewing days and a Lifegard Aquatics Big Digital Temp Alert just for the Alert feature but even that is 4 degrees off...
