Rich, Are you going to run anything else off the pump?.. I'm also doing a basement tie in too but using a reeflo Hammerhead (6000 GPH) and running a few other things off it too

What temp are you mixing at?.. it should be the same temp as the tank so you'll have the same salinity

I would be more concerned about the water running down your walls then the humidity from a sump.. Do you know the reason why this happens? can it be fixed by re grading the outside? Concrete and block walls hold moisture for a long time .. It might look dry by eye but it can be still damp and if...
