I've bleached many pieces and had them color back up in a few weeks time. You can get sps to lose it's color, turn white, but still have flesh and polyps. That's what I thought bleaching was defined or referred to as. STN and RTN is tissue necrosis whereas bleaching occurs when the zooxanthellae...
Wouldn't bleaching be when the coral loses it's color from excessive light or lack of nutrients / combo of both, vs when skin peels off being STN or RTN?
Well if it has been a couple of days and you don't see a movement in phos then you don't have enough..I use more than required. I run 2 dual reactors all with 1cup each. I switch a container every other week or when I start noticing crap building up on the pellets. I said to go slow initially...
