I also have this light that came with my tank that I can sell to you, it's brand new never used. It say on my tank during the cycle but was never turned on. It's a single channel so you would have to manually switch from day to night.

I made something like that for my back chamber,but with only one switch, I then spliced that into one wire of the extension cord and rest is plug and play.. you plug the aqualifter into the extension cord and when the water level drops it turns on and fills up

I have a diy basket made of egg crate in chamber one with a sponge filter and chemi pure blue bag..I clean the return pump about once a month when I swap out the media bag..now that you mention it the water level in the display area does look a little higher..on the fluval the top and bottom two...

Finally got my uv sterilizer, and my tank is crystal clear again and looking good some of the corals are still kinda closed up I'm just leaving get the tank alone and let nature happen.. I got the JBJ nano zapp if any one was wanting to know what I got
