So the tank has been running for about 4 or 5 months now I think and the nems literally take up majority of the tank. But the clowns don’t want anything to do with them. Now before I got the clowns and nems they had a relationship in the tank they were in prior.
Well I setup my Hospital tank again and before it was even ready for the fish they both literally cleared up completely. Not a single speck of anything. So now I’m not sure what it was.

So I had my yellow tang and mocha clowns in a hospital tank for almost 3 weeks because of ich. Yesterday everyone looked good and healthy. Today I come home and they both have it again but none of the others have a single sign of it. I know tangs are prone to it but why do the same 2 fish get it...
I dropped a screw into my sump and can’t find it. It may have gone behind the sump but there is a very good possibility that it fell inside. I’ve been running a magnet through the compartment I think it’s in but no luck.
Is this something I need to go crazy looking for or will I be ok.

I totally agree but that’s just the thing. My ATO sensor for my bio cube is in the return section of the in tank sump. Also my main tank is set up exactly the same. ATO is in the return section of my sump. Actually now thinking about it while writing this my main tank has a gyre pump that pushes...
i just noticed the other day every time I shut my power heads off to feed my ato goes on. This is both tanks too I shut down to feed and a min later the ATO sends water in. It’s only a small blast just curious why?
How does one go about changing their salt mix? I’m not doing it yet but have thought about it. Can I just do my regular water change with the new salt or do I start with smaller amounts?
