After all these damn questions I’ve been asking I should move to the neb section. But this question is for the pros. I heard it once or twice about months ago now I hear it almost every night. It’s a loud cracking sound the first time I heard it I thought the glass cracked. I cannot for the life...
I met Dave’s tank and setup yesterday and fell in love. He has a beautiful tank and some gorgeous corals.
Oh yeah he’s not to bad himself real stand up guy and loves the hobby. Thanks again man for the tour and frags.
Im figuring that the chances are slim finding someone selling these in here but I figured you guys may have seen them somewhere for cheap or on sale. I’m in tuckerton NJ 08087.
Looking for:

1- XR30 compatible T5 hybrid fixture 4’ long
No it wasn’t mark it was a younger guy (no offense mark) has a 15 gallon tank with a pair of clowns. He said he was a member and I talked with him for a good amount of time but never exchanged names or numbers.
If you’re the guy with the pair of clowns I met in PetCo today hit me up please I should of asked for your number. I’m sure not to many people have met someone at PetCo today so hopefully this works lol.
Yes I’m talking about the bright green on the rock. I just wanna make sure it’s a good algae and not a nuisance algae. It looks really good in the tank. I’ll take another pic shortly with no blues on.
So I wanna say this is green coralline but I could be wrong. It’s neon green only growing on my live rock. Now I have taken a toothbrush to it and it doesn’t come off for the life of me. It just kinda popped up and shortly after I started getting purple and pink coralline growing on the rock...
you don’t have to but I give him a chunk of raw shrimp about every other day. He does catch fly bys when I feed the tank I just feel feeding him gives less of a chance of him wanting to munch one of fish
I have a large tube Anemone with bright purple outer and bright green inner tentacles. I don’t want to get rid of him but he’s gotten too big for my tank and I had to move him to the back of my tank so he didn’t sting any coral. I’m putting a price of 60$ OBO. The pics I have don’t do any...
So I have 2- scolys and a monti on my sand bed. Some not mentioning any names (but assuming it’s the melanarus wrasse) keeps covering them in sand. I’m not sure how to stop or correct this. Do I lay a flat piece of live rock on the bottom and sit them on top?
They are on opposite sides of the...
I feel the 16” ones would need to be replaced just as much as the shorter ones. Correct me if I’m wrong but won’t leaving the sock in till it’s clogged just give give the waste more time to work it’s way into the system? I seen longer ones on amazon and almost bought them but that came to mind.
The internet is the only place I have found them well actually worth it. One of my LFS has them but it’s like 10$ for 1-4 x 8 200micron sock it’s out of control. Of course I bought one because I was too lazy to clean my old one.
