You have a generator or inverter?

Still out from 530pm yesterday.... All sps are toast I think from the pics of my tank....

The inverter was setup an hour ago with a bubbler and a powerhead. Still no power...... From pictures the sps will be toast soon. And no dbs, thanks for checking.

Hello all, I am on vacation and the tank sitter let me know I don't have power. How long can my tank last? 60 gallons total volume, 2 small fish, loads of coral. House is currently 78 degrees and should stay around there. Had I sitter blow bubbles in the tank and stir it, but don't trust them...

How long did it cure. Ge 1 can still cause damage if not fully cured. As Paul said 5 days is about right with the amount we use, a week is better.

I also think your original choice is fine as well.

+1. Many "smart" ballasts turn off when they feel a bulb going bad.

Sounds like you have this all worked out. Mixing salts is completely safe.

Edit. Driveway heat is for calcium. For mag, most use mag flake.

The answer is yes to both your questions, it will work just fine. But it would be cheaper to bump those numbers up with baking soda and driveway heat. I would do some research, it is perfectly safe and your dosage would stay the same.

How accurate is weighing it Paul, wouldn't it absorb some moisture making it weight more? Also, never understood how weighing salt could be accurate since that to absorbs moisture.

The pattern continues, I have a reefbreeders photon with 5 blackened blue leds. Lets see how well they respond to a warranty repair..... I think cooling is the issue here too. The tiny heatsink that covers maybe 25% of the leds is not sufficient.
