I use them and switch them out every 2 or 3 days. The way I look at it is if I dont use them the junk will end up just settling in my sump and become a nutrient source. For me its much easier to deal with socks than to regularly clean out my sump.
Lol the last lefty I had got taken by a bluefish last year.
Are they ones you turned yourself? They look great. I picked up a lathe a few years ago with the intention of building plugs. Its a good at collecting dust.:) Unfortunately my rod lathe seems to be going in the same direction.
Nice wood collection. Ive got a whole pegboard with way too many rm smiths, tatoos,.... I really should sell most of it. Honestly anymore I use sp minnows, mag darters, northbars, and paddle tails 99% of the time in the salt.

Im running a geo calcium reactor but to be honest I've only had to dose 2 part on one or occasions since I set it up in the Fall and that was just too adjust the ratio of my parameters. It doesn't sound like you have a real high demand so I would think that reactor could easily handle your load...

Thanks for the feedback. It sounds like they are quality tanks. I am goingto pickone up. I just need to figure out how big of a tank I can fit in the space.
Does anyone have them and are you satisfied with it? I had been thinking about building a 40 to 60 gallon acrylic tank but it probably wouldn't be much more money just to buy a deep blue.

Ive been scouring craigslist for a 40b to use as a frag tank and have come across a couple of 75s. I saw one in Williamstown for about 50 and a reef ready on in ne philly fir around 100.
You aren't kidding. I'm not going to have any room once these start growing out. I really need to set up a permanent frag tank plumbed into my system. Everything seems to be doing very well.
I was hesitant to name the vendor because this is my first time dealing with them. I'm not sure that it would be fair to judge them based on this single experience. It sucks that the fish died but the bag leakage could have been from handling by handling by fedex, packing issues or just one of...
