Thanks, it's a trigger sapphire. Seems to be good quality. The filter sock section is a bit cumbersome but completely enclosed which is nice. But, the more I learn the less I know in this hobby!

I use a calibration solution, cant recall what brand at the moment. I also do the counting trick, any usually test twice. I've been battling with this for about a year now, I may shift to salifert.

I'm using Red Sea kit, I also use a calibrated before every use Red Sea refractometer.

Good evening, I always seem to have high magnesium with coral pro sea salt at 35ppt. I'm dosing nothing but vinegar. My magnesium is roughly 1650 all other numbers are level. Any ideas?

The jebao actually calibrates using that methodology. I did it like 10 times to ensure I had it just right. OK, im going to cut off the dosing, switch to salifert and a hanna dkh. let ya know how it goes. thanks all!
