    RO/DI Help

I have well water, usually reads 100tds or so, and i use an ro buddie. comes out as 0 tds. I throw a DI on it anyways but it's not needed for the most part. You might need a booster pump but at 15 tds, filters would probably last 1 year plus, i know mine last about that long. You also wouldn't...

    Tank Planning

LED's will work but can be expensive, a t5 6 or 8 bulb would work, hybrid also, but hybrids are expensive as well. I run a t5 8 bulb, but with lps in the sand 6 bulb should be more than enough, i can grow sps on my sand bed with the 8 bulb. Any reason why you don't want to run a skimmer? It may...

    Prepping dry rock

If I had to guess i would say they wouldn't live outside of water all that long, but as stubborn as some algae is, a bath couldn't hurt. If they are small enough, i know hydrogen peroxide kills off algae and is cheap, maybe soak them in a small bowl of it and then rinse and let it sit out for a...

I leave it alone, lol. It's slightly dirtier looking than the pic suggests, the light reflection off the sand is giving it that shimmer.

    massive die off. Please help!!!!!!

either something was introduced with the chromis you put in or your tank may have gone through a mini cycle. The stress of the new tank may have had something to do with it as well.

    DSA 135....

Looks like one dispar anthias and the ornate wrasse did not make it, i believe possibly due to flukes. I dosed the tank with prazi and everyone seemed to be better for it, the blurry eye on one of the anthias went away in a day after putting in the meds. I also added three bartletts anthias...
