    Vodka, Carbon Dosing

Not the same, negative things i can think of would be stripping the water too much of nutrients, if you dose too much you could have a bacterial or cyano bloom. You should also be monitoring both nitrates and phosphates while you do it.

    Any mechanics???

Yup, battery cable can be an issue, and everything is wired up differently, so like you said, short of having the diagram, it's a possibility. What i think it's going to come down to though is the PCM or BCM after talking to kevin about this one a bit more, unless he accidentally activated the...

    Any mechanics???

Yes, fuses can't be halfway working, but theres a lot of fuses, so half the truck could work and half could be out. When there's power going through and he's getting certain things to work, i suggested fuses as it's easy to check and could very well be the issue.

    65 Gallon Start Up

Always good to see new people in the hobby, ever since I put my tank in the wall and my 1 year old can see it now, he stares at it all the time. Good luck, the bloom will eventually go away, it's a good time to get used to doing tests, depending on what you plan on putting in. If the bloom lasts...

    Mark's Pico reef (6g)

You could probably add more snails, I would do 3-4 nassarius, probably 8 or so mini cerith and one more nerite. Lps would be fine, if there's a way to do an ato though that would be a big plus for stability, if you leave out the Lps though you don't have to worry about testing for alk and calc.

Look up julians thing, it's what i use, and you can just cut the tip to make the opening larger if needed, they also sell extra tips should you need different sizes, and they are fairly cheap. If you want an even cheaper option, pick up a turkey baster. Julians thing is 20 bucks, extra tips are...

    Netting

i was going to offer up my brs netting as well, but you can't go wrong with the kit, easy to set up, cheap, my only advice is when you put the netting on, don't make it too tight or it will twist the entire lid.
