That free Home Depot water testing is a big scam! I tried it a couple of years ago and mailed off a sample and they wouldn't give me the results. They wanted to send somebody over to talk toe about my water and try and sell me something. I then googled it and saw a ton of bad reviews.
I always have more than 1 heater in my . I know you have the 300 now but if it ever dies get 2 150w ones that way you are safe. also I always skip the pvc primer. I think leaving it out makes it look much cleaner

I know some people have dedicated fish rooms & others have all kinds of crazy methods. I'm also curious not only to know how you make the water but how much you change, how frequently you changes it, and exactly how you change it.
I also have another question about pumps. my return pump is an Eheim 1262. it is 900gph. is this big/strong enough to be able to set up a manifold? I would like to run my reactor and have the capability to run mayb1 or 2 other things down the road.
