Define "drops", like 3 drops from the bottle or from an eye dropper? I've never heard of anyone dosing in drops before. Even on my 8 gallon Biocube I dose 5 mL a day of Kent tech A/B two part. 5 ml = a LOT of drops. Also, testing immediately after dosing will give you a false reading.

If it is just water getting past the standpipe where it sits in the bulkhead connection(inside the tank), that is nothing to worry about. If you want, some silicone plumbers lube will take care of that.

Still don't follow where it is leaking from but as long as it's not leaking outside the tank around the gasket you will be ok. At this point, I would toss that overly complex bulkhead and get a standard $5 black bulkhead and call it a day! :D

Plus the maintenance costs, they are cutting programs and teachers state wide as it is. I think it would be a tough sell to get a school to take it and maintain it at the level it needs to be kept, especially on a thinner than a shoe string budget.

The one side of the housing unscrews to get the membrane out (left side in that Pic). Do you have the wrench to get the other filters out? I'll check how you have it all connected tomorrow.

If i remember correctly, ChemiPure elite package says replace every 6 months. I replace it every two months.
