    With the headloss the mag 5 is 270 gph so I think that would work. I like the idea of unions at the pump.

    Bump! Will take 80 for the halide!! The bulb or ballast by itself is worth more. The light is fully functioning and will be cleaned upon pickup.

    The biggest sump I can fit with the aqueon wood stand is a ten gallon.....all I want in the sump is the skimmer, heater and pump. So I am going go with a mag 5 or 7. Would the sca 301 skim a forty breeder well enough?

    That is good to know Paul! I am torn between the nac5.5 and the octopus nwb 110. From reviews it looks like the BM produces more skim mate.

    The skimmer does not produce any micro bubbles in the tank, it is currently in my display tank. I am selling it because I am trying to fund a sump on a tight budget. I do not know if it will fit in a JBJ.
