Lots of options out there. Purples are reallly pretty. Scopas do have the most yellow to them. the Two Spot also looks really nice and has nice colors.
With yellow tangs being impossible to find, or ridiculously expensive, what is a good alternative utilitarian fish? I have a blue tang in there, but I’m looking for something that would also help eat the algae on the rocks.
Ok. Got some XR30 Gen 4s. Using the Coral Lab AB+ setting at 60%.
For acclimation, what should be my starting percent? I had it at 20% over four weeks but it doesn’t look like it’s doing much at all.
I’m still having trouble getting my nitrates stable. I know the first bought was cyano. At least I’m pretty sure it was. No I see bubbles which make me think dinos. I can post more pics if it would help.
I know you don't want to keep the lights on too long, but do you really only keep them on for 9-10 hours? I feel like the lights being off by 6/7 PM is just sad lol
75 Gallon Corner-Flo Reef Ready Tank (48x18x21)
Budget is about $1k. Easy for two radions for that tank, but I’d like to get something on the 10 gallon as well. May just need to hold off on the 10 gallon for a while.
Hey guys and gals. Tank is approaching 9 months old and is going through its paces. I'm ready to get some real lights for the tank. Any suggestions on what to get? I'd like the options to keep SPS in the future if I decide to go down that path. It's a 75 gallon tank.
I also have a 10...
So dosing nitrates and chemiclean seemed to do the trick. I didn't realize how crazy the skimmer would be with chemiclean, but I was able to remove all of it. Tank is once again looking good!
