Lol. I have the skimmer running kinda dry as it is. I can certainly try to put it on a timer.
I ordered the Hanna checker to get a more accurate reading and some NeoNitro. Increased feeding as well...
My nitrate levels are really low. Salifert test kit and I can't read any trace when looking down through the container. Looking through the side, it shows somewhere between .2 and .5. I think the low nitrates are causing my cyano outbreak. I've increased feeding a week ago, but it doesn't...
Was there for the first time in a couple months and they bought out one of the neighbors and have all dry goods in the new section. They're adding more coral and fish tanks to the original (wet) side. It looks great!
While I was there I picked up a small swiss blade basslet adn the smallest...
37 Gallon Tank. Was used for QT and had copper in it. Sterilized with chlorine. No additional equipment, just the tank. Has some sand still and needs to be wiped down.
The pump that came with this skimmer just died (I was told the skimmer is great but the pump is garbage when I bought it). Any recommendations for a new pump?

My wife works Saturdays and Sundays are usually booked, but I'll keep an eye on the thread to see if this would be something I would be able to pop in on!
Thanks guys. Now I gotta figure out how to convince the wife to let me buy three lights instead of two next year so I can put one over this 10g and turn it into either an SPS or Bubble Tip tank :)
So sorry. Just seeing this now. It was getting pretty bad so I actually ran out and got a 10g and moved him. He's pretty beat up but started eating again. Let me see how he does in here for a little while and i'll let you know. Thanks!
