But in all seriousness, its a pest algae that no one is 100% about what causes it or how to cure it. There's a bunch of different opinions out there. Some say they work others (myself) tried a bunch of ways and still have them.
This was in the beginning of Sept. Shortly before my dino outbreak.
I started to dose H2O2 and it got pissed off and started to move forward in between 4 different SPS so I got real nervous and put him in the buttercontainer/breeder box. LOL.
Here's a overly edited shot of it.
If it wasn't for the fact there is 2 breeder boxes in there (one for the nem one for cheto) I would. Still trying to figure out what to do with the nem as I don't want it to settle in the middle of my sps and whipe everything out. :culpability:
So I moved one of my acan colonies into a shaded area and they haven't opened since. Do acans need direct light? I was under the impression they would be fine in the shade. Should I move them back into the light or should I give them some time? It's been about 3 days now.
IME, If you get a ChocChip just know it will eat any coral in the tank. It will also eat urchins and some anemones. If you get one they would probably make a good sump inhabitant.
I picked up a rimless 5 gallon and was thinking of doing macroalgae vs corals. My only concern is the light is a 6watt 10 led fixture. Will this be enough or not?
Yeah, he seem alright. Got in a tiff with a YWG, but nothing crazy.
Not sure what ones you are talking about.
