That's what happened to me first algae going Then gone.. Then after I got to 1ml per gallon(80 Proof) Nitrates or Phosphates was 0%.. But just remember keep a eye out for Cyano when getting to max dose or close to it Sid

You might want to add.. The vinegar is used if the tank is not in use or with livestock :)
