That's what I was thinking. I know that there are all different ways to do it I was just hoping I could get some advise on if I should remove the rock keep some. Add miracle mud. Don't add miracle mud. Etc...
Thanks for giving me your opinion.
I have a 36" Trigger sump and I was wondering if you could tell me some suggestions. This is my first tank that has a sump so it has been new to me. I was reading another thread about a nano tank with a HOB filter that had LR rubble in it and that was causing their problems. It got me...
Here are some pictures of the fish in the tank. I don't plan to add anyhitng else fish wise. Well maybe a tang a little later down the road. The Tang I am interested in is a White Tail Bristletooth Tang. I'm in no rush. (Code for I am over budget on everything)
Here are some pictures...
First is that it looks awesome!!! Second is what are the 11 arcade games you decided to keep? I'm a sucker for old arcade games! Growing up we got an empty arcade cabinet from TNT Amusements that we stuck a tv in and a computer that held tons of games. All you had to do was cycle the list of...
It looks awesome! Do you have power heads in the tank? Would it be possible to put them on a tank like that? I guess maybe on the back wall?
Nice job getting the, "Saddleback"
+2!!!
I like the way you think! "The PRESIDENT of the ENTIRE NJ Reefers Club contacted me and said how much of an impact new lighting has made on not only lowering his bills, but what a big impact LED's make GLOBALLY!!!"
"I'm not doing it for myself. I'm doing it for Mother Nature!"
Thanks Kevin. Now that I'm done with fish I want to start adding more corals. The one big thing I'm lacking is Stong lighting. My aquarium budget is maxed out so my wife says. I have a 48" compact fluorescent coralife with 4 50/50 bulbs in it. So I am limited to what I can add.
One step at a time.
About once a week I have been calling the local fish stores to see if I can find a Golden Midas Blenny. Every week they all say the same thing about that they order them but since where they come from in Africa is hard to get them. I posted it on the WTB page and got tons of help from the...
I called the Hidden Reef on Friday and asked the guy if they had a Midas Blenny in... He said they did... I asked if it was yellow... He said it was... I flew over and all they had was Black ones!
Saturday I found on on the Diver's Den!!! WOOHOO for me!!! So a Blue Tux Urchin and a Golden...
I think I need to find a better set up for my RO system. I am limited for space so I set it up and take it down when I need to make water. Since I run the tubes out the window and hook it up to the hose I have to go outside and turn it on/off. I forgot to turn it off the other day.
Oops...
That sounds like a good idea also! I may have to try that. Right now I have both the probe and the supply line in the last part of the sump. Will it cause a problem if I put the supply in another part of the system?
I am pretty sure that's what my problem is. However I can't raise the sump or lower the container holding the water. So I am going to have to do something like what you did. I am started by poking some holes in the supply tube. I poked the holes in the tube that is in the freshwater...
