dual TDS meter works great! I have 3. ;) just hook them up, press a button for on/off, flip a switch to see reading from input/output... can't be easier than that.

Dan, so you mean, the return pump will T off two branchs (one to display, one to chiller-input) and after the chiller, T the chiller output back with the to-display pipe? or the chiller-output will go directly to display and will not merge back with the to-display? thx

i don't have a chiller hookup - yet. but my guess is, if you have cold water direct back to the sump, the cold water would cause the heater not be ON... isn't it? that should be ok...(?)

water level can rise over time... due to overflow-teeth/pipe algee build up...etc so you would need a bit head room...

UPDATE: after 2 nights of DYI, finally got this to setup, BUT still need more tweaking! LESSON LEARNT: do not use hack! do the right way from the beginning! PROBLEMS: 1. - this TDS meter did not work - it could be an exellent TDS meter, but the probe (1/4") is simply too big to fit in the...

Re: what eats Manjos may be you can start to raise some fishes in a isolated tank, and only feed them marjanoes for few months... they have to eat, some how? do they? ;D after few months, you can start to sell those army of anti-marjanoes!! good $$$... ;)
