Your light intensity seems to be pretty high at 80%. You could be cooking them as well. Corals will die faster under intense light rather that at a lower setting

What size tank? And how "new" is it? Are you running an ULNS? Personally I have never used a UV so I can't say much. But I have heard mixed views on them. In particular if it's not sized properly on the tank.

Have an LFS or a reefing buddy test ur water for salinity. This way you can rule out the refractometer as being the culprit

Are you topping off manully?

It could be precipitate from the nopox too....could explain that dark brown stuff In the second pic.
