I thought barnacles were white. This is brownish. And the starfish was so big the file fish was using it as a hiding spot. I think if its still available when my 40gal is set up I'm getting it.

Sounds like if I don't get some better lighting my options go in the way of NPS. But i don't think that would work well either as this tank is right next to a window and will probably get 3-6 hrs of sunlight. If I go the LED way is that on top of the 2 T5HO or is that by itself?

Tieing in a 40 pillar to my system. Just seeing if anything would grow with only a 2 bulb 24 watt t5s(coral wise) or is it just not enough. Don't really want to invest in lighting as of now. Josh

Sand bed depends. I have a CandyCane pistol that is pretty small and it is fine in a 1.5" sandbed. I would stick with a shrimp smaller than the ones you have. If its larger than the others it may eat them. YWG will pair up with a Pistol so you really don't need to buy another goby If...

Fish are either camoflage or hiding. YWG/postol, 2 Dart fish, Scooter Blenny, and Lawnmower Blenny. Looking back you can see the scooter blenny in the MIDDLE pic

Noticed these bubbles in the flesh of my brain coral. Is this normal or is this a bad sign. They are not constant as they go up and down.
