Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Grats! BAsed on the fact that they have a lot of pieces that have time to be photographed and put up on a website to sit for a while, I'm guesssing your stuff is a goldmine, and rightly so.
Hoping you got a good price, especially as its in the city.
Also, now that you sold out in 24 hours, and...
HEY MARK! Know you're doing a bit of food but I'd like to contribute.
Won a few awards for chili in the past, I'll make up a big batch and bring it along, along with some tortillas.
Also, for FRAG RAFFLE! Is Chris picking stuff up? If so, he might as well just leave it in his car as he'll win...
Welcome to Coral and Eddie!
Fung and I have met and he now is continuing the 2.5g build!
JG, in Brick myself off Jack Martin near Ocean Med.
Also, check the for sale forum, Nyte is selling a bunch of tanks including a 90 with stand (and a 40b for a sump), and a hob overflow...
and see you saw...
Picked up a couple zoas and snails, plus some freeze dried food and live blackworms for $20 today.
They still have approx 100-150 small frags (mostly encrusting) and a few larger pieces of brain, branching sps, etc.
They have a couple of tanks left, but no big ones, some bulbs, live rock (some...
Eric has me confused, and, as I'm of simple brain, that's pretty easy to do.
Is this not next weekend, or has there been a mis-post somewhere?
We have lunch with Santa tomorrow and I'd hate to run out early on the dude.
Would probably decrease my chances of getting the magic device that I've...
Cool.
Mark is in Jackson at Ultimate for corals.
To be honest, the Petco in Brick is fantastic for salt water. The guy who runs the department is a reefer and he keeps the place miles above any other 'chain' shop I've seen.
Not really up for anything in particular in the tank department, reigned in my spending to almost zero lately.
But! I jumped in today thinking I may drop a few bucks.
I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary on multiple sites.
It may be that I'm inundated with so many sales through the year...
Picked up a sponge when I started.
Told not to expose it to air.
Lived and grew very well.
Big water change mild rock rearrange.
Accidentally exposed about 30% of it to air for 10-15 seconds.
Skeletal within 2 days.
Sponges suck, but when they suck air, its not a happy ending.
John!
Welcome aboard! Beautiful tank. Would love to go with a FW, but space limitations dictate otherwise.
And welcome to reefing!
Asking copious questions before doing something is highly encouraged!
Though not by me, I get pissed off at it and will give misleading advice in vengeance.
Had one in my 10g for well over a year.
Worked perfect, never a problem.
Would happily buy again.
Also, check out the docs post (Dr Jim) on craigslist. He's got a great light set for sale for $25 I'm tempted to buy even though I don't have a use for them.
I PM'd you the link.
He's a member and...
Difference between us is that if I tried to get my old BDUs or civvies on now I'd need a corset, some duct tape, and a pair of vice grips. ;)
And the pic was taken in decent weather, no hurricanes, no fires, no shooting etc... Usually the helo was like that scene in Airplane with everyone...
Got 1 in each of my tanks. Just bought 2 temperature controllers and plan on doubling up - 1 main on controller and one emergency backup for each tank.
