Paul can't I just use the 2 outlets on the left? and not worry about the middle one?
I plan on picking up a 50ft 12 gauge, should be plenty of length to run from my yard to the tank plug. The plan is for this to power only my tank + fridge + maybe a light or so if needed. KNOCK ON WOOD, but...
Well I was going to hold off buying a generator, but I figured it would be better to have one than not to have one. I picked up one today for a steal, it should be able to power my tanks + fridge no problem.
Looking for a small nano to house 2 clownfish at my office. I had an aqueon 8g evolve, but left the magfloat out and someone was playing with it while I wasn't there. Suffice to say the aqueon is all scratched and I can't stand to look at it on my desk.
Looking for like a JBJ 12g or Biocube...
Sea Level Aquarium has a nice setup and great potential plus they're 2 minutes from my house :).
Other than those I typically head to NY for stores - Coral Theory and Diamonds of the Reef are great stores out in NY.
Placed an order for an African Exquisite Wrasse Super Male and Yellow watchman goby both fish will be 1.5 - 2" or so and should be here Monday.
Also picked up a black ocellaris + sa fancy white for my office desk should be nice. Now if only people would STOP tapping the glass there :smashhead:
Its not recommended to constantly make small amountd of water with the Rodi though which is what would occur if connected directly to the sump. If you evaporate say a gallon of water over a day your ro will continually work to replaxe small amount of water exhausting the cartridges faster.
You...
Lol rest of my post got cut off :P
Basically it is a risk, I googled around and some people had no issues while others saw some die off. Definitely a trade off and 50/50 gamble it seems :/.
Any chance to remove the fish and put them in QT and treat there instead? If you're local I have a 10g...
Q: Is ParaGuard™ safe for use in marine reef tanks with invertebrates and soft corals?
A: We do not sell or market ParaGuard as invert safe because it would be impossible to test it with every available invert under every potential water parameter. We...

-
3rd) Papuan Toby puffer - not reef safe, may bother the helfrichi and clowns, prob would skip
-
4th) Black Ice clowns (2) -...
NICE! If you are successful with the moorish idol I might be more inclined to do one :).
Keep me posted I am working 2 Saturdays in March, but not 100% on the dates yet. If I am free I will be there.
Yeah man, I decided to do an angel or 3 and well corals + angels dont mix well.
Although once this tank is going strong I may consider doing a 30g deep blue reef in my bedroom, but that is up in the air.
Don't worry I'll still bring my cousin down to shop :)
Decided not to do any corals at all so selling the blasto I have that I got from Coral Theory last month.
It is a OPE Blasto coral from Coral Theory, below is a picture of it in my tank and a picture that Coral Theory posted on their site.
$100 firm picked up in 07006.
I stopped by Diamonds of the Reef today a nice fish store located in Brooklyn, NY. Diamonds of the Reef has multiple tanks with a wide selection of healthy fish! Brian the owner is a nice guy with an even nicer store.
I snapped a few pictures of the store to show my cousin since it was my...
stopped in today, they're pretty much packed full of corals. I like they have frag tanks from $10-$40 some nice zoas/torches in the tanks. The fish they had a pretty decent amount, they could have looked a bit healthier, but might just have been added to their system.
I will say one thing...
