What were the reviews saying? I've seen people complaining about the wifi signal but router is in the room next to it, so it hasn't been a problem for me, at least not yet.
Got an alert from temperature getting too hot, 2 year old heater finally failed. Great product for those who are interested! If you want the 308-wifi for both heater/cooler control, you can cut the probe and rewire the one with the silicone jacket, gives no problems so far. It only has 1...
That ratio comes from the Redfield Ratio which applies to phytoplankton, haven't done in depth research into it, but it might or might not apply to the same ratio with other photosynthetic organisms, but would likely be consistant as N gets utilized much more faster than P. If your tank is...
I got gracilaria hayi and a halmeida. Gracilaria with medium light is better, it will ok in low light but will be slower than normal.
Halmeida supposivly needs sand, but I found one growing on a rock, and another in the sand that I can pull out.
PM if interested!
When I added pvc tunnles to the tank, it was basically a whole rescape. Added some extra dry rock a couple weeks ahead of time in the sump, since some large pieces werent going to fit anymore.
Moved some of the rock and corals to a big cooler as a wall divider, and put some fish there, rest of...
78 +/-1. Make sure your probe is reading the same as a thermometer, had to calibrate mine by a degree. Whatever you keep it at prob depends on your livestock.
I'm a big fan of room divider tanks, as long as the chord management is done clean! A lot of the other ones showed in the vid seem like a complete nightmare to do maintenance on.
Not a serious recommendation, but would of been funny if you had Atlas holding the other side of the rock.
A decent idea though can be using something like a gorgon or mangrove roots to help hide the acrylic rod.
It's in the sump, so there is no rush to pick it up. I do have more portions, just was looking to give some away, and trade another chunk for for credit or something at a store.
Have Eheim with inkbird with no problems as of yet, heaters are close to 2 years too. The built in thermometer doesn't match up with the real temp, it was off a few degrees but being adjustable, was a easy fix. Now I'm using the wifi inkbird so its too early to tell, but only 1 heater is...
