Has anyone bred these before? Been looking into raising these, either marbled or some kimd of dwarf crayfish. They look fairly easy, and even read some people will grow them in barrels for fishing bait, so they must be pretty explosive and easy to do.
Depends on the room you got to work with, a regular sump usually isnt enough. Unless you custom built the sump with a rlmacro displat in mind, a tank plumbed into the same system would look cleaner with if the system has a regular sump installed.
Sufficient flow and your likely gonna need to dose depending on how often you do wc and how much macro. What size is your chamber you plan on converting?

Some macros need substrate, so that is another thing to consider. Mermaid fans, shaving bushes and prob a few others. Reds aren'tas...
If you need macro, I can trim some. My radiata likes to perch on it sometimes. Usually I see dwarf lions hanging on the substrate, but never owned one so not sure if they also like to perch on higher areas.

Feed every other day. Chop up squid, shrimp, silversides, or whatever comes in some combo pack from an asian market. I try to use live ghost shrimp once a week, the lion is quick to catch them, the eel sometimes tries but misses alot.
