Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
You might give the NYOS a shot. People like it because the coloration, which is pale yellow to dark orange, is much easier to read the results than the purples that the other test kits have. The breakpoints on mine are 0, 1, 3, 5, 12, 25, 40, 65, 95 and 160.

I have 8 really nice Squaminias Anthias that need to be fed multiple times a day. I got an Avast Plank to feed them, and it feeds them hourly with anthias sized pellets. I also have an Eheim feeder that feeds the other larger-mouthed fish once a day. On top of that, I feed the Anthias their...
My wife had a similar problem. She bought a set of pastel pencils at a price that seemed too good to be true ($70). The set never arrived, but some Covid Masks arrived from China with the same Tracking Number that an email said was for her pencils. She complained to PayPal, and was offered...

Mark_C,
I'm a little late with this, but I'd be interested in a Blue Shirt* with the name "Radiata". Since I only wear Tees with a pocket, I'd prefer it that way, but I can live without it. Let me know what my financial obligation are, and to who...

This week I had an Ebo-Jager heater flame-out on me in a 90G. (Sad indeed, because I consider them to be so faithful.) The water felt a little too warm (hot?), so I checked it with my NIST thermometer, and found it to be 93 degrees... Yikes! (Like why is NikkiT's Yellow Tang still alive?) I...
Thirty-five something years ago my two Engineer Gobies tried to kill a really nice blue carpet anemone by covering it with sand. While I do admit that I love Fridmani Dottybacks, I strongly suspect that it is trying to kill the coral it is covering ~ perhaps it had been previously stung by it...
Hmmm... are your "rakes" actually long algae scrapers? I find I periodically need to level the sand in my DT, and I've been using some of wifey's* kitchen utensils. But, I actually already have two long scrapers (duh)! Thanks you for nudging my aging brain...

I really like the idea! But, November might be a little chilly for frags ~ we'd have to provide electricity for people to heat their frag tanks with. Maybe we have a member who could us lend us a generator for such an event? (Or, maybe Global Warming could accelerate and see us through...)...
