i just started actinics 2 weeks ago.. i have always run them... but never got them on the new tank from 3 months until 2 weeks ago.. i like the actinic only view before and after the metal halides, i don't see much during the metal halide cycle though..

my personal preference is Coralvue Reeflux 12k. lots of people use them in the club, including me.

i had my glass tempered after they drilled 4 holes in the bottom and back of my tank, they builder highly recommended it.. just my 2 cents :)

what color (k value) are your zoos under? just curious... have you tried relocating them anywhere in the tank?

i think maybe the 10g setup suffocated the acros and its frags.. but without seeing it, would be tough.. i think all the slime and toxins giving off would be another issue... whenever we do our fragging, we always throw out the water the corals came in and fragged in and send them home in fresh...

maybe search for an electrician? i am not sure if plumbers run electrical lines to garbage disposals. At work, electricians always install garbage disposals..
