A few things since tank is getting full. I'm at 07110 and willing to meet without a reasonable distance.
Stop by on your way to Reefapalooza or meet me there on Sunday PM session
Reefbrite XHO-X360 add on. Don't have a kessil lol... $150
Only assembled, briefly peeled the LEDs cover film, and...
I would also go in pretty cautious on their condition at that price. I would request to see them cycle through all the light channels individually and a demo of a schedule. Solid deal though if they are in good.
Im tempted to side with @amado in saying Neptune doesn't know about lighting but at the same time it's hard to judge how good this light will actually be without some numbers. If the performance of it is better than that gen 5 xr30, anyone who was already looking to buy those is tempted to...
Light looks pretty and being able to swap the orange Neptune tag was hilarious (wife was outraged because she loves the orange accents lol) but I was assuming they would price it comparable to an xr30 which they sadly did.

I've been running a DCP4000 for a couple years without issues and is dead quiet. Along with some wave makers. The oldest being an RW25 that's been running nonstop for 5 years now.
Going to be using another return and a couple wavemakers for my next build
Thanks for the input! I'm thinking I run a bigger risk trying to 'fix' it than just leaving it alone. So I'll let it be.
@diana a you can see I opted for the 1200 model after all for this tank. I'll make a thread on this tank soon :)
I just finished drilling two 1" bulkhead holes on a 75 gallon to make it a penninsula. Overflow fits in fine. The first hole came out ok. Some chipping but nothing I haven't seen before.
The second one though has a bit of a hanging edge. I don't see anything that looks like a crack coming off...
