Definitely was alot of work for me. I'd say more involved than my reef tank. But that's my personal opinion lol.

I believe u have to have the flow come from the bottom of the uv and go upwards as to not create any air inside of it that will create hot spots potentially damaging the uv bulb. I plan on running my uv off a completely separate and dedicated return that is plumbed directly back into the tank...
