I've always looked at it like this. we've got our tanks because we love the life it brings to a room & want our own piece of the ocean without having to be there. I relate that to driving on turnpike & everyday tasks. then there's people who get scuba certified and want to see what the true...

just drop ~90ml of pure ace hardware ammonia in the tank & leave for the week. should be the strongest new bacteria you've ever seen by the time it's done.

I think his friend is worried about the skimmer going nuts & spewing skimmate all over OUTSIDE the sump. but that's what I got out of it.

agreed, i REALLY wish I had the $$ to take everything :( I'd just sell the tank & stand & keep everything else in my 90. it's a great looking tank.
