Should I shut down the gfo for a while?

I'm waiting to pull the trigger on a Tunze ATO....will limewater in the top off solve this issue?

The alk was 9 on June 22nd and corals seemed fine. So it did drop, even with water changes.

Nitrates are at 2 and steady. Phosphate was .08 but now 0 running GFO and wet skimmate. Tunze really pulling gunk with very small bio load.

Just curious, was the controller on a surge protector? If so, some manufactures will refund money for blown equipment.

Hopefully its an isolated case of a parasite that you can get control of, and the other fish are safe. I'd seriously consider the QT. Its a pain waiting, but it will save you a lot of stress. I have two simple PJ cardinals in QT and I can see them acclimating very well. Eating, being less shy...

Do your own investing. All you need is a good small/mid index stock fund and add to it on a regular basis. (dollar cost averaging) Over time it will make you a lot of money. This one has been very good to me over the years, including the great recession...

I dont think the Emperor Angelfish will have enough room, especially with that list. I believe they need more space than a 180. It is one of my favorites though.
