Hi, looking for some fish to start in my QT tank. Going with the most peaceful type fish first. Looking for PJ cardinals, Yellow head Jaws, and firefish. Most likely two of each.
I was wondering what was your current stocking list before I drive up.
Thanks
My 180 is on that stand right now. Same lumber dimensions, just one center support. Still probably over built. You can also borrow my Kreg gig. It does not have the clamp though.
The 2x6 does make it harder to skin according to Rob...but the master did it of course.
Please mods, close this thread....

So instead of having an intelligent conversation you need to post this? Thanks...I need to take a break from this place...damn, I thought people here were open to ideas.
If it turned out true, you wouldn't try to fix the issue? Why can't you keep an open mind? I'm sure people thought using Bayer Advanced was nuts too at first.
Someone needs to run two tanks next to each other with the same parameters and fill one with white egg crate and the other without...
Here is a post by my friend and the thread on RC:

egg crate and phosphates
Conducted my own little experiment after reading posts of egg crate leaching phosphates into a tank.
I added a rectangle of egg crate to the right corner...
I'm reading that white egg crate can increase phosphate. A friend on RC did an experiment and it seems to validate the problem.
Any thoughts on this? My skimmer stand is made of white egg crate and my phosphate is higher than I'd like. Rising on each test to .24...I know it could be the rock...
My rock has 3 large BRS reef saver pieces that I soaked a long time and the rest is all reef-rock that I rinsed and placed in the tank.. It has a great rep for little phosphate. Haven't tested nitrates yet. I guess it time...
I'll get some more shrimp...thanks!
edit...just did a nitrate...
Captains log: Day 8 of cycle June 4th, 2014
Temp: 78.5
Salinity 1.024
Phosphate: 0.24
Ammonia 0.8
Nitrite 0.5
I bit concerned about the phosphate, even have small 1/2 cup of GFO running.
Also two shrimp in nylon are almost gone. I'd say about 20% left, should I ghost feed when they are gone...
Started the skimmer yesterday and pulled this up, evidently those are two dirty shrimp...I had heard it was going to take a while to get the Tunze running properly, but only took overnight.
