I've never owned an all in one tank. It looks interesting. Can't wait to see it filled. For live stock, keep an eye out on the vendors forum. They always have that something special that will catch your eye, and at a bargain.

Did you put more water in the sump?

No. The other side with the gate valve should be the clean water side, unless the valve is on the wrong side. What didn't work? Is the air valve fully open? Take off the valve on the end of the air line for testing.

If you look at the last pic, you can see an elbow going down to the bottom of the skimmer. You couldn't see that till he just posted the last pic.
