Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Bob Goemans is super-knowlegeable and a great guy, but he's hardly impartial. He's been the innovator and champion of the plenum system of marine aquarium keeping for many, many years. I think DSB's kind of rained on his parade.
I love stuff like that. These guys (greenhouse frogs) are pretty common in Fla plant shipments, but yours, might be too green.

I Once got a green treefrog that had made a similar trip, but your frog doesn't look like that either...
Yeah, I don't know who fixed the computer setup that the DMV uses, but they oughta win a medal or something. Almost painless, although I hate having to go there to renew my license.
Pink Stylo:
Pohnape Birdsnest, growing faster now:
Loisette, this was blue and green when I got it, then brown, now it's just starting to turn blue on the tip.
ORA Nathans Green Millie, lots of new growth:
Reef Cocktail, use in moderation!
More underwater shots. Rainbow poccillopora;
The fast-growing brown thing was a tricolor when I got it in September. Oregon Tort on the left there, doing well.
The table I won in the club raffle on the right, P&B Millie on the left
This sad-looking thing is Sunset Mille, which has the...
Pink and blue millie, this is looking better since potassium dosiung started, getting blue around the coralites. Doesn't coralites sound like a religious sect or maybe a motown group?
Cali Tort, slow growing but encrusting its plug...
This is "blue millie," believe it or not. It actually...
I wanted to take some pre-vodka dosing shots (pre amino and lugols too, I guess) so I picked up a tiny aquarium and stuck my camera in the fish tank! Some of the resulting shots were good, some are pretty bad, I think the flash issue is complicated, most of the close-ups are very washed out...
And let us not forget the cautionary tale of "Mr. 4000!" Anybody doing something like this needs to have some engineering consult to deal with 15GPD of evaporation getting into the sheetrock!

Sorry I meant to say Denville HW has the caulking gun sized tubes.
That little store amazes me. They often have stuff HD and Lowes cn't be bothered with, like nylon nuts and bolts. They base their inventory on what people ask for, rather than what...
BW mentions testing for potassium, have you done that? I'm winging it for now.
One reason I stopped dosing iodine back in the day was I couldn't test for it.
By the way, what phosphate test are you using? I almost think it would be worth buying a colorimeter.
Known in Japan as Tejutsin, I think. What? I can still hear the theme song!
Gigantor, the space-age robot!
He's at
your command!
Gigantor the space-age robot,
something something something...
How scary is that. Anybody remember Colonel Bleep? Spunky and Tadpole? Crusader Rabbit? Gerald...
Re: Here's my now 375 (was 120) by Bax
Last time I bought it, my local Tru-Value Hardware store (Denville Hardware) had the plain GE clear stuff, it says aquariums somewhere on the tube...
I have been using two Brightwell products, Koral Color and Potassion, with good results. I have always been against "snake oil" things like the Mark Weiss products ("Super Fantastic Reef Boosterama!") but the potassium-blue color link is true and seems to be reproducable. Today I picked up the...
I never owned or used one.
It's a slim but very tall skimmer, I believe it hangs on the tank, it was aimed at people who didn't want a sump. Might have been a quality item, but definitely several generations back in terms of skimmer design. Is it cheap?
Not much fish variety but still cool:
