BW mentions testing for potassium, have you done that? I'm winging it for now. One reason I stopped dosing iodine back in the day was I couldn't test for it. By the way, what phosphate test are you using? I almost think it would be worth buying a colorimeter.

I never owned or used one. It's a slim but very tall skimmer, I believe it hangs on the tank, it was aimed at people who didn't want a sump. Might have been a quality item, but definitely several generations back in terms of skimmer design. Is it cheap?
