Have you tested your Magnesium levels?? Magnesium is needed due to some crazy chemical reaction that allows the tank to hold on to your alk and allow it to rise and stabilize.

I went snorkeling in Bonaire and was able to make it to the bottom even with a jacket. The flimsy snorkeling jackets are crap. I just made sure all the air was out and down I went!! Most people don't need a jacket because the saltwater makes the human body very bouyant.

We will certainly hook up on a few dives....and I haven't forgotten about maybe getting an NJ Reefers meet up at Dutch. I'm looking forward to going out with Kris and having him show me his tricks on getting lobster!! And yeah 100' is colder and darker than 90' thats all LOL.

I got my cert in May 09 and then did my AOW in June or July. So Nitrox is next on my list...deppest I've been so far is about 110. It's just colder down there LOL. But I hope to do a whole bunch of diving this summer and try and do some carribean or Mexico diving too.

Thats exactly the amount of weight I dropped moving from the AL80 to Steel 100...6 pounds. Thats the problem....I have to convince her to go first ;)
