Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Looks like it is time to crank up the production of both your HUFA-infused and your nannochloropsis-gut-fed baby brine shrimp! Good luck with keeping any newborns healthy!
DangerDave - What are you paying for a delivered 5G size, and who is your supplier? I've tried the import-fresh-air-from-outside-your-home method, but I'm not impressed with the results...
I just returned from my local Asian Supermarket where I went to get some Nori. It looks like Nori is suffering from some supply chain issues. I estimate they had less than 15% of their usual stock on their shelves. Stock up now - your tangs will thank you for it...
Hi Justin,
Thanks for your very quick reply. I was curious to see in the wattage claim is the usual made-in-China marketing cheat. They'll claim that their unit has fifty 3 watt LEDs, and that it is therefore a "150 watt" unit. They don't tell you that they're only running those fifty LEDs...
Amado,
I'm interested in your sump, but I need to find a mover. I assume the measurement is 6'x2'x2'. I measured my Elantra's trunk, but it won't fit :(.
Do you know anyone who'd be willing to truck it to 07039 for ca$h? I'll start looking for a trucker locally...

Hmmmm... It occurred to me that this would be a great way to increase both NJRC's local NY/NJ recognition and our membership...
Why don't we invest in the purchase of a few hundred of these and put them in each RAP attendee's "Goody Bag":
One each NJRC Name/Logo imprinted on a very real N95...
I've been running a Ranco for several years now, but it recently passed away on me. I have a duplicate backup for it, but I preferred to keep it on the sidelines as I've been using it to dissolve the bottom solids in the gallon jugs of my ESV Alkalinity two part supplement whenever necessary...
You now have a gadget that, with a heavy drop in ORP, will tell you that your tank is about to crash because something big has died in it. As you shouldn't need an ORP meter to see that happening, I'd suggest you exchange it for something more practical. ORP probes have a small place in the...
That isn't really as odd as the Pearlfish that just happens to make a home up there!
In fact, it actually makes sense - fresh oxygenated air coming in is no very doubt healthy for the Pearlfish!
You might try using a small plastic dropper to squirt a little capelin roe into the tentacles. The LFS variety isn't cheap, so I use the one pound frozen block from my local Asian food market that goes for $11. Squirting come of this might work too: Goldpods Liquid Plankton Concentrate - Nyos
Many people have had wipe out issues with cucumbers dying and poisoning tanks ("Cuc Nukes"). I think redfishbluefish was the latest victim in the club, losing half his tank. I'd be very hesitant to put a temperate one in a tropical tank as that would be yet another stressor on the animal.
